Nino's flair and mastery of human anatomy is clearly shown in this maquette for an unrealized collosal angel. The angel was sculpted clay while working with a live model. We then molded the sculpture in silicone and cast it in plaster. The resin reinforced draping and kydex wings were added later.
A 50' giant angel was intended using this prototype as a guide but funding and the final product were never realized.
