Prop Radiators
Costume Armour provides plastic prop radiators to theatres, television and films around the world. Our standard radiators are vacuum formed plastic shells which come in a variety of styles and finishes.
We have also supplied them in full round very realistic Kydex assemblies. Your imagination is your only limit. Costume armour can provide any custom radiators made to your specifications. Our radiators are
available in the vac-form sheets for you to finish or complete trimmed, framed, painted and ready to use.
Our standard vacuum form radiators:
Radiator "A" measures 25" tall x 25" wide x 3-1/4" deep
Radiator "B" measures 30" tall x 24" wide x 5" deep
Radiator "C" measures 26" tall x 26" wide x 8-1/2" deep. Untrimmed and unpainted in this photograph.
Radiator "C" is trimmed and painted in this photograph.
Radiator "D" measures 21" tall x 3-1/8" deep and comes in sections of 13.25" that can be stacked together to make longer sections. This photo shows a four section
radiator which measures 4'-5" wide.
Radiator "E" measures 28-1/2" tall x 3-1/4" deep and comes in sections of 13.25" wide that can be stacked together to make longer sections. This five section radiator
measures 5'-6-1/4" wide.

Our radiators are available in a variety of styles, plastics and finishes. For those on a tight budget you can trim and paint them yourself. The most economical plastic is our .030 vinyl which can be cut with scissors. Our .125 ABS is a stronger and more heat resistant. Kydex plastic is available in thicknesses from .060 to .125 and is also carries a 94 V-O flame resistance as does the vinyl. |
